ICW is participating at the Greater New York Dental Meeting
from November 25th – November 30th 2016 at booth #3406. With more than 54,000
attendees the event is considered to be the largest Dental Meeting in the United
States with a growing number every year. Many of the vendors, companies and participants have been in NY before, some are even locals and consider the meeting as their "Home-game", but a large number are also first time visitors and never had the chance to visit New York, or even the U.S.A. before.
In that case, we all know how stressful such a business trip can be. Finding a good place to stay, booking the trip and packing everything (don't forget your toothbrush) and at the same time organizing everything for the convention..not so much fun. But, with the right planning and information beforehand, it can still turn into an enjoyable trip, or at least into one which you will never forget (for whatever reason) with at many, or thousands, of amazing pictures and images "to brag" about for years after.
Reason enough for us at ICW to give you some ideas to
make your trip even better by visiting some of our favorite locations, food
places and of course the “Must See” places that you simply shouldn’t miss
during your stay at the Big Apple, besides the typical "Tourist Traps". (we still mention some of them for you)
FOOD
After a long day at the convention nothing sound better than finding a good place to enjoy your dinner, her are some of our Food favorites
World renown chef and delicious Asian cuisine. This is a
must for every visitor. Get in the line around 4:30pm to get a seat for dinner.
Doors open at 5pm.
Great and creative cocktails, great wine and beer selections.
Farm to table food options. A 4p-7p happy hour. Rustic, roomy, chic space. Good
place to start or end the evening.
SIGHTSEEING
If you find some time during the day to do some Sightseeing, here are some locations you should definitely visit to make your trip unforgettable
The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on
Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City, in the United States.
Times Square is a major commercial intersection and neighborhood
in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, at the junction of Broadway and
Seventh Avenue, and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets.
If this is your first time visiting NYC I would highly
suggest a trip to Top of the Rock. The views are amazing. The top floor is open
to the air with 360 degree views. The best part you can have the Empire State
Building or Central Park in your photos... which is not possible from the
observation deck at the Empire State Building.
The Cathedral of St. Patrick is a decorated Neo-Gothic-style
Roman Catholic cathedral church in the United States and a prominent landmark
of New York City. It is the seat of the archbishop of the Roman Catholic
Archdiocese of New York, and a parish church, located on the east side of Fifth
Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets in Midtown Manhattan.
ART
New York has a lot to offer for almost everybody. So take your time and explore some of the amazing and also unique Art NY has to offer
The Museum is renowned for its exhibitions and scientific
collections, which serve as a field guide to the entire planet and present a
panorama of the world's cultures.
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, often referred to as The
Guggenheim, is an art museum located at 1071 Fifth Avenue on the corner
of East 89th Street in the Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan
or if you have some time left and don't like New York, why don't you visit us at our headquarters in Medford, Oregon, just a few hours away by plane? We guarantee you that you would not regret the visit. And last but not least don't forget to visit ICW at the Greater New York Dental Meeting 2016 at Booth #3406
